Working in the commercial team, the primary responsibility will be to manage all in-bound sales opportunities converting to sales as well as pro-actively seeking new opportunities for the entire commercial portfolio in conjunction with the Commercial Manager.
Key tasks will include;
Manage all in-bound enquiries and target repeat bookings for agreed match day areas.
Match Operational responsibility for your designated lounges/packages, being the main point of contact for client and the internal catering team.
Expose clients to new sales opportunities when they arise within the department.
Actively target businesses and individuals to sell across the range of the Wasps commercial portfolio within the agreed designated geographical areas and SIC classifications.
Have a proactive view to outbound calls and seeking new opportunities
Ensure all new leads are logged accordingly on the designated database management software and kept up to date with new contacts to maximise sales opportunities and contributing towards a strong/active database.
Instigate and conduct face-to-face client meetings generated from I-bound and out bound sales calls.
Assist in the execution of the sales opportunities to ensure client fulfilment and
Work towards individual targets as well as working as a team to achieve the overall commercial team target.
Take a lead role in the marketing strategy for the commercial team working closely with marcomms to ensure continuous activation throughout the year.
Can demonstrate a proven track record in sales and of achievement of sales targets and have experience in working within a strategic department and will be able to initiate and drive sales independently.
Will possess a strong network of contacts with experience of strategic prospecting and cold calling at Executive level with a clear passion for selling across the club’s portfolio of rights.
Will be self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit.
Hold great communication skills and can negotiation with clients execute maximum sales opportunities.
Possess a ‘can-do’ attitude, self-driven and determined
The ability to multi-task and thrive within a busy sales environment, working as a member of a busy commercial team.
