We are currently seeking a charismatic, enthusiastic and knowledgeable Commercial Partnerships Account Manager to nurture relationships with key commercial partners and sponsors of the Club.


  • Oversee all existing accounts (sponsors, partners, seasonal hospitality) to ensure all contractual commitments are delivered, and over-delivered where possible, in a timely and thorough manner
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive annual timetable/diary of personal visits to our “pyramid” of commercial partners, strategically selecting other Club personnel/players/former players to attend as appropriate
  • Take the lead on away match hospitality for corporate guests, maximising any opportunities for generating incremental revenue streams
  • Play a key role in the annual renewals process for seasonal corporate members, ensuring that the Head of Commercial is fully aware of all relevant information in order to optimise annual price strategy
  • Develop, maintain and strengthen relationships with key corporate partners/members in order to enhance customer satisfaction and maximise customer retention opportunities
  • Utilise the strong relationships developed in order to up-sell other commercial opportunities to commercial partners/members whenever possible
  • Manage and help execute all commercial partner activations, additional tickets, hospitality, stadium branding, signed memorabilia and other non-match day event requirements
  • Update and develop the account management database, including data input and accuracy of information, within current GDPR guideline
  • Deliver all relevant Club commitments in respect of centralised Super League/RFL partnerships/sponsorships 
  • Input into the budgetary planning process and subsequently ensure strict control of all relevant budgets, in particular partner activations
  • Work closely with relevant marketing colleagues to oversee the planning and creation of content to ensure media exposure is maximised for our commercial partners at every opportunity
  • Meticulously prepare for match days, then successfully manage the hospitality reception desk as guests arrive, ensuring that all match day commitments to corporate partners/members are delivered, both personally and by the wider team


  • Relevant experience in a similar role, involving relationship development
  • Experience of working within a professional sporting environment is desirable

Due to the nature of the business, and the role, this is not a standard Monday-Friday 9-5 job, and so requires flexibility towards working hours, including the requirement to work at all home fixtures as well as some away fixtures, plus various events on evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.
