Our client is currently recruiting for a Conference and Events Sales Executive position whom will be reporting to the Conference and Event Sales Manager. Your main objectives are to generate income from meetings, events and conference hire at the venue and coordinate all conference and events, providing excellent customer service.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills with a strong eye for detail and organisation with the following credentials;

Self-motivated and results driven with a can-do proactive attitude.The ability to multi-task and prioritise work.
Experience in the Conference and Events Industry.
To have extensive knowledge of all products and service available.
Identify and proactively source new leads to maximise income.
Receive and convert incoming sales enquiries.
Focus on a consistently executed up-selling approach.
Develop strong relationships with customers and clients to build loyalty and fully understand their requirements to ensure excellent customer service.
Complete customer show rounds to actively sell the venue.
Ensure the complete administration and execution of all conference and events is completed to the highest standard, updating the events booking system, producing function sheets and fulfilling invoicing procedures.
Generate ideas for future sales and marketing initiatives.
Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure events are delivered successfully.
To comply with any other reasonable requests made by the Conference and Events Sales Manager or management within the club.
The successful candidate will be required to work Match Days and will also need to be available for other evening and weekend work due to the nature of the role.
