Sale Sharks are one of the leading professional Rugby Union clubs in Europe and the pride of the North West. Historically based in the Manchester suburb of Sale, but now playing at AJ Bell Stadium, the Sharks compete in the Aviva Premiership, having played in England's top flight since 1994. They currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Key Account Manager to join their team.
Reporting to the Commercial Director
The role will be responsible for the administration and delivery of sponsor and partner contractual obligations, as well as assisting the Commercial Director in development of new proposals and inventory.
Duties will include:
Managing the relationship of all sponsor and partner accounts and including Premiership Rugby and European Rugby obligations and commitments.
Delivery of all rights and obligations within each accounts contract (website/twitter/programme/ad boards/branding/PR launches etc.
Ongoing liaison with all sponsors and partners in relation to player appearances / competitions / give aways etc.
Management of the match day experience for Executive Box holders and liaison with the Hospitality Manager to ensure match day delivery of contractual obligations through the other hospitality suites.
Act as the main point of contact with RDPR - organising stories and press releases for sponsors etc.
Developing contracts / proposals for various sponsorship opportunities.
Assist the Commercial Director in upselling / renewing of current sponsors and partners.
Development and delivery of all ancillary events - such as The Business Club, Golf Days, End of Season dinners etc.
An incentive structure dependant on performance and delivery of the job.
