Our client predominantly works in the motorsport sector however, they also work across other sports and do not limit themselves to one vertical. They manage the commercial rights of 9 world class racing drivers across Formula 1 and Formula E, with their core focus on delivering commercial partnership opportunities to our drivers, the teams and the series’ involved.
The ideal candidate will be committed, conscientious, driven and determined to succeed. These values and attributes are more important to them than prior experience, they are confident that given the opportunity to work with a candidate that lives by the aforementioned values, they can turn said person into a phenomenal partnership sales person.
That being said, of course it will be desirable if the candidate were to have a broad understanding of the marketing industry and how sports fits into the sector, with their own view on why a brand or organisation would consider utilising a partnership within sports to add value to their business.

Detailed Job Description
The successful candidate will:
Have sales experience in a commercial sports marketing environment (2 years+ ideally)
Have a proven track record of the sales they have been responsible for
Understand the marketing industry and its various forms / channels
Understand the sales process from start to finish, with the ability to execute each element involved
The role will require conversations with “C” level executives, both via telephone and face to faceHave the ability to be flexible with their working hours
They work alongside some International brands and clients who will require early or late meetings and calls
Have the drive to succeed and strive for the highest quality of service offeredHave an interest in sport
Have an excellent telephone manner
Be well presented
Additional skills that are desired but not essential:
Educated to Degree level
Have a strong and deep understanding of sports marketing and the industry landscape
Have experience in sports sponsorship / partnership salesSpeak another language
Degree in sponsorships, sport marketing or marketing
The flexibility to travelThe flexibility to work some weekends.
This will be limited and only in certain circumstances as the role may require.Experience in working with “C” level executives.
Plays or has played sport to a high level.
