Main Responsibilities 

 

To generate sales leads, securing new business across the full product inventory at Leicestershire CCC with a focus on hospitality, player sponsorship and pitch boards

To support the Corporate Partnership Manager in the acquisition of President & Captain Club memberships, main sponsorsand the sale of new inventory such as floodlights and stand sponsorship

 

General Duties

 

To build on the current database for the purpose of securing sales across all areas of the business

 

To create awareness within the local business community of the facilities on offer at Leicestershire CCC

 

To sell advertising space in all club publications including Yearbook, match tickets and fixture list cards

 

To focus on the sale of perimeter advertising, player sponsorship and all hospitality including both cricket and non-match day

 

To support the Corporate Partnership Manager in generating sponsorship leads

 

To attend relevant networking events across the county to promote the facilities and opportunities available at the club

 

To provide telesales lead when following up on mailings sent out by the commercial department

 

Any other ad hoc duties in pursuance of the general duties, as may be required by the Corporate Partnership Manager

 

Key Personal Attributes

 

Proven experience in the sales of sponsorship and hospitality, preferably in a sports club environment

 

Knowledge of the local business in the Leicestershire region

 

Natural enthusiasm and self-confidence

 

Strong work ethic

 

Possess proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.)

 

Excellent written and verbal communication and proven interpersonal and customer service skills to enable successful liaison and interaction with people at a range of levels from a variety of social and cultural backgrounds

 

Ability to deal with sensitive and/or political issues with tact, diplomacy and judgment while maintaining complete discretion and confidentiality

 

Ability to cope with high volumes of work, varying workloads and interruptions and to organise activities to provide efficient services
