Sporting Jobs have been retained by Tixserve, a market-leading digital ticket fulfilment and fan engagement platform with blue-chip sport and entertainment clients across the UK, Ireland and Australasia, to appoint a Senior Business Development Manager.
The successful candidate will be a key member of the Tixserve management team based in the United Kingdom. This is a full-time role (subject to probation) offering a competitive salary and benefits, including a hybrid home/office working model.
Key Responsibilities
Driving Revenue and Growth
- Achieve and exceed ambitious sales targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to win new business and grow existing accounts.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from lead generation through to deal closure.
Client & Relationship Management
- Identify, research and pursue new business opportunities.
- Manage and grow key accounts, ensuring long-term relationships and client satisfaction.
- Lead contract negotiations and close high-value deals.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor and support junior sales staff to improve overall performance.
- Work closely with marketing and product teams to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
Market Insight & Reporting
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.
- Report on performance metrics, pipeline status, and sales forecasting.
Skills & Experience
- Proven success in a senior sales leadership role, ideally within the sport or entertainment sector.
- Track record in strategic planning and business development.
- Confident communicator with board-level experience and strong stakeholder management skills.
- Solutions-focused, resilient, and commercially minded, with a collaborative approach.
- Highly organised, analytical, and able to thrive in fast-paced environments.
- Self-starter with integrity, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
